Meet Our Founder

Suzanne has dedicated over 35 years to critical care nursing, working across the United States and Canada. She began caring for medically fragile patients with serious conditions, which sparked her passion for specialized pediatric care.

For three decades, Suzanne has focused on bone marrow transplant, hematology/oncology, and hospice care at prestigious institutions including Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and Seattle Children's Hospital.

Her Vision Suzanne recognized that families needed pediatric palliative care beyond hospital walls. Her vision: a home-away-from-home where families receive physical, emotional, and spiritual support during their most challenging times.

Personal Connection As a mother of two, grandmother of three, and foster parent to two children for nine years, Suzanne understands the importance of family. She believes every family deserves precious memories and compassionate support.

Suzanne's determination to bring Ladybug House to life reflects her lifelong commitment to caring for children with serious medical conditions and their families.
